COLUMBUS -- Republican John Kasich and Democrat Ted Strickland both entered this world as the sons of blue collar workers before digging their way into politics and winning seats in Congress.

But while Strickland left Congress for the governor's office, Kasich moved on to more lucrative employment, simultaneously juggling jobs as a Wall Street investment banker, FoxNews show host, book author, guest speaker and corporate board member. He even held a senior fellowship at Ohio State University that paid him roughly $50,000 a year for a decade.
