Summary
While many are fussing over urban and suburban sprawl, the loss of farmland and unbridled growth, perhaps it's time to look further into Miami Valley's future. Water moccasins in the Great Miami River? Azaleas blooming at Easter? Greene County corn fields replaced by rice paddies? Golf at Yankee Trace in January? According to the Union of Concerned Scientists, that's what's coming our way - - Arkansas summers, North Carolina winters. That assumes you believe in global warming. There's a subject that mixes science and politics. I'll let smarter minds and bigger mouths than mine debate the issue. I would note that the voice of perdition so loud in previous scientific/political donnybrooks is absent.
