VERSAILLES -- It's a good thing they decided to wait until Al Hetrick retired.

"It's my understanding that in the early 1990s, after he won his second state title, Dick Berger, Fred Condon and Jim Phelan, my father, wanted to get him something for winning the state title again," Tim Phelan said. "Basically, they decided to wait to put it together until after he retired."
