KETTERING -- She has been a great player for years, but Kacie Hausfeld has developed into a great leader.

Alter volleyball coach Tina Jasinowski implemented a new system this season with two team captains being voted in every Monday for a one-week term. Every player gets a vote, which has to be supported by a reason. Team captains can be re-elected weekly and that's just what Hausfeld has done. The Knights setter has been captain all season for stateranked Alter, something no other player can claim.
