CINCINNATI -- Kansas City Royals pitcher Scott Elarton is a fly ball pitcher and that's an awful thing to be when you stand on the mound in Great American Ball Park. Ask Eric Milton. Before Elarton took his first cautious step to the GABP mound Wednesday, he led the American League in giving up home runs (19) and walks (50). If that isn't feeding Christians to the lions, it comes pretty close.

The expected outcome surfaced fast and furiously -- the Cincinnati Reds ripped three home runs in the third inning, one of them behind a walk to bury Elarton and the Royals, 7-2.
