DAYTON -- One day removed from clinching the Midwest League's second-half Eastern Division title, the Dayton Dragons came out flat and paid the price as they had their four-game win streak snapped 5- 1 by West Michigan at Fifth Third Field.

Despite the loss, the Dragons got some good news on Monday in the form of shortstop Billy Hamilton and closer Drew Hayes being selected to the Midwest League full-season All-Star team. This team purports to represent the best 13 players in the league, with one player being picked from each position along with a designated hitter, a right-handed starter and reliever, and a left-handed starter and reliever.
