Summary

DAYTON --It's that time of year when the chickens, pigs, lambs and bunnies are groomed, pampered and prettied up for the judges. The Montgomery County Fair will be held Wednesday through Sept. 4 at the fairgrounds on South Main Street in Dayton.

Livestock raised specifically for auction will also be available for bidders to help fund the college education for youths involved in 4-H. According to Cheryl Luksic of Clayton, buyers for the auction are getting harder and harder to find.
