KETTERING -- Centerville High School's style of basketball has been called ugly by its detractors because of the low scoring and patient offense. Friday night, it became a thing of beauty.

The Elks claimed their third straight Greater Western Ohio Conference divisional crown with a 33-28 win over Fairmont before 3,200 fans at James S. Trent Arena. Coupled with Beavercreek's 71- 60 loss to Springfield South, Centerville won the Central Division outright with an 8-0 record (overall 14-2).
