KETTERING -- The Kettering City Council voted at their April 12 meeting to clarify and revise the guidelines for eligibility for low- interest and/or deferred home repair loans that the city offers to homeowners who meet income eligibility requirements.

Pat Higgins, manager of the Community Development Block Grant Program, told the council that the new guidelines will help ensure that the houses with the greatest needs are given priority for assistance, and ensure that the city helps as many homes as possible.
