COLUMBUS -- Gov. John Kasich signed a bill Friday aimed at curbing prescription drug abuse and shutting down clinics that give out highly addictive painkillers with little medical examination or records.

"The good news is that we have engaged the enemy now," Kasich said at an Ohio Highway Patrol warehouse that holds thousands of doses of seized drugs.
