COLUMBUS -- Opponents of a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage said they may consider a federal lawsuit to block the newly adopted amendment in Ohio.
Alan Melamed, campaign manager of Ohioans Protecting the Constitution, said a federal lawsuit could be lodged, arguing that the amendment violates the U.S. Constitution by denying equal protections and interfering with the right of parties to enter contracts.See the full content of this document
