DAYTON -- Stephen Thomas could handle a meager role this season and still revel in his team's success, but sitting out back-to-back games during a recent homestand was difficult for him to digest.

"It's always tough when you feel like you can get out there and contribute and help the team," the University of Dayton sophomore point guard said. "It's hard as a competitor to sit there. But if it's in the best interest of the team, that's what I have to do."
