WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE -- A 445th Airlift Wing crew took off Monday afternoon on its last mission to fly sick or wounded troops from the Middle East.

It's a mission the Air Force Reserve wing has been flying since the U.S. invaded Iraq in 2003, and one the wing's airplane, the C- 141 Starlifter, has been flying for more than 40 years.
