One new exhibit, two venues, 50 photographers vying for a spot, and 150 images from which to choose. This may be the first year for photographer and curator Tiffany Shaw-Diaz's Women's Photography Exhibition, but that didn't keep her from getting an incredible response from the community.
"I conceived the show because I wanted to celebrate the impact that women have had in photography," said Shaw-Diaz, who is also showing works in the exhibit. "Unlike painting and other mediums, photography has always had a strong representation of women right from the beginning. Renowned photographers Julia Margaret Cameron and Gertrude Kasebier really exemplify this."See the full content of this document
