FAIRBORN -- Friday was a day of celebration and appreciation in Fairborn when the Fairborn Fire Department held a dedication ceremony for its new $3.8 million, state-of-theart Fire Station No. 1 at 495 N. Broad St.

"This dedication is made possible through the support of our citizens who recognized the need and provided the funds by passing the earned income tax levy for fire facilities in November of 2004," Fairborn Mayor Thomas Nagel said.
