WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE -- The Air Force Materiel Command's former top enlisted man made wanted and unwanted sexual advances to women he met at Air Force events or through his wife, according to testimony presented by the government.

Chief Master Sgt. William C. Gurney repeatedly pursued the women by instant-messaging or text-messaging, in some cases using his government computer or telephone during duty hours, witnesses testified during a three-day hearing that ended Friday, May 28. He electronically exchanged nude or revealing personal photos with airmen and frequently pressed them to send those images, witnesses testified.
