VERSAILLES -- A day after both of Dale Meier's sons died while harvesting grain, friends and relatives spent most of Sunday mourning and carrying on the work while Meier planned his sons' funeral.

"We are going through hell," he said. "We've had a lot of friends out here, and we do a lot of talking. We talk about the good points about the boys; the good times they had, and that's the way we hold up."
