DAYTON -- Cinergy Corp. and the Dayton Power and Light Co. both set electricity generating records on their systems Monday to meet the demand of business, industrial and residential customers who notched up the air conditioning to cope with stifling humidity and temperatures in the mid-90s.
Both utilities were able to satisfy the demands without involuntarily reducing service to customers and without having to ask for voluntary reductions in usage, spokesmen said.See the full content of this document
