Elections Officials Report 2 Snafus During May Primary

Summary


TROY -- A memory card inadvertently left at a polling place and the need to manually enter votes for one precinct where a candidate was left off the electronic ballot interrupted an otherwise smooth election night at the Miami County Board of Elections.

For last week's May 4 primary, 21.65 percent of the county's registered voters cast ballots, according to unofficial data and results from the elections office.
