Summary
DAYTON -- The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus will focus on the "Music" of Meredith Willson's classic Broadway and movie production of "The Music Man" for its next pair of Pops concerts this weekend at the Schuster Center.
Aided by a lineup of guest vocalists, the Philharmonic will present a concert version of the beloved show, minus period costumes and scenery, but featuring all the songs that have become a part of our collective musical consciousness: "Seventy-six Trombones," "Trouble" (aka "Trouble in River City)," "The Wells Fargo Wagon," "Gary, Indiana," "Till There Was You."See the full content of this document
