Delphi Rating Lowered to 'Junk'

DAYTON -- Delphi Corp., which employs nearly 8,000 Dayton-area workers, on Tuesday had its credit rating lowered further into "junk" status while it confirmed that production at one local plant will be reduced this summer.

Standard & Poor's Ratings Services lowered the auto supplier's credit rating from BB to B-, citing weak earnings and production cuts at General Motors Corp.
