LEBANON -- The sentencing of ex-Springboro police Lt. Jim Barton was postponed Tuesday after his defense lawyers requested a new trial based on new evidence that contradicts the testimony of a key prosecution witness.
Warren County Common Pleas Court jurors convicted Barton, 49, of Springboro of complicity to involuntary manslaughter and complicity to aggravated burglary on Friday night. He was to have been sentenced Tuesday.See the full content of this document
