Steve Willuweit brought a bunch of old photos -- most of himself and his Dayton Flyers football teammates during their 1989 national championship season -- to the wake.

"We started looking at them and one thing stood out," Willuweit said by phone from Chicago. "On every picture Lou seemed to be getting to the play first and the rest of us defensive guys -- Jim Mocho, Doug Ryan, myself -- were always on his tail.
