DAYTON -- A furor is developing among some members of the Miami Valley's deaf community who are critical of the Family Services Association and its program, Community Services for the Deaf.

About 100 met Tuesday for three hours at Sinclair Community College over issues that ranged from questions about program spending to quality of services and turnover in leadership of the Community Services for the Deaf. Some want Community Services to separate from the Family Service umbrella and be a stand-alone, independent agency for the deaf.
