Dayton is among the top 100 metropolitan areas for exports and export-oriented jobs, according to a new study unveiled today, July 26, by the Brookings Institution.
Using data gathered from 2003-2008, Dayton was ranked No. 16 among the nation's top 100 metropolitan regions for exports as a percentage of total GMP (gross metropolitan product) at 13.8 percent, and No. 14 in export-oriented jobs as a share of area employment, with 44,133 export-focused jobs.See the full content of this document
