CENTERVILLE -- She's always been interested in how things work and the 2003 Centerville High School graduate has spent years assembling the tools she needed to build a career in what traditionally has been a guy's world.

Jesseca Zapf, 22, the daughter of David and Connie Zapf of Washington Twp., graduated this spring from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering and a concentration in manufacturing and production.
