Summary


Miami Valley Career Technology Center teacher Mike Williams' interest in history apparently dates back to the third grade. It is said that at that tender point in his life he told his grandmother that he would grow up to be a historian. Through the years, Williams has done precisely that in writings which have ranged from those about an early 20th-century Dayton labor colony called Kossuth to the Hayner Distillery in Troy.

His most recent publication is The Industrial Hobarts: One Family's Story through the American Century, for which he collaborated with Peter Hobart, the former vice president of Hobart Bros.
