Council Seeks Input On Electronic Sign Ban

Summary


CENTERVILLE -- The Centerville City Council wants to hear from residents about whether or not signs using an electronic message center should be banned in Centerville.

The council set a hearing Oct. 15 for an ordinance that would prohibit such signs. It also passed a resolution extending the moratorium on sign permits for changeable copy, electronic display, or LED signs, for another six months (180 days), to allow time for the ordinance to be decided.
