Council Oks Funding Resolution

Summary


TROTWOOD -- The city council here voted 7-3 at its May 2 meeting to accept a resolution to support the First Suburbs Consortium of Dayton, Ohio request for the Ohio General Assembly to agree on cutting governments funds for a temporary maximum of not more than 25 percent during the next two years.

Councilman Rap Hankins (Ward 2), who voted in favor of the resolution said, "I wanted to express my concern over cities like Trotwood that cannot afford anymore budget cuts at this time."
