TROY -- Miami County Sheriff Charles Cox needs to cut back on fuel usage, so he's thinking about putting fewer tires on the road. To accomplish that, he's looking into options for leasing two motorcycles for use instead of a couple of cruisers. Cox told the county commissioners about the possible switch in vehicles during the 2009 tax budget meeting last week. "We have two months left in this year's budget at the rate we are going," Cox said of the 2008 budget's fuel allocation.
