Common sense seems to be in short supply at the Statehouse when it comes to guns. Ohioans who grasp that firearms don't make every situation safer will have to look to Gov. John Kasich to display some, by vetoing a bill allowing people to take loaded guns into bars and tote them around unsecured in their cars.
The same goes for a separate measure that would weaken gun control, by allowing some drug offenders to legally carry guns, and invites everyone who is legally prohibited from owning guns -- including violent felons -- to apply to have that privilege restored.See the full content of this document
