Beavercreek's teenaged rock climbing prodigy Grady Bagwell grabbed a toehold in the upper echelon of the sport Sunday by winning the nation's top prize and is now looking to conquer the world.

Bagwell, 15, took home first place at the Youth Speed and Difficulty National Championship in Everett, Mass., outside of Boston . The Beavercreek High School sophomore will now get ready to represent the United States in August in the world competition in Beijing.
