Clayton Urges Microchips for Dogs

Summary


CLAYTON -- Clayton City Council approved the first reading at its Jan. 3 meeting of an ordinance that approves of new technology when it comes to identifying dogs.

Specifically the new ordinance modifies existing Clayton codes describing potential "vicious" dog breeds which require owners of such breeds to have their dog identified in case of harmful actions by the animal.
