New Superintendent Cites 'Great Pride' in Waynesville ; Patrick Dubbs, Formerly of Little Miami Schools, Said Wayne Local Schools Remind Him of His Hometown.

Summary

WAYNESVILLE -- The new superintendent for Wayne Local Schools is Patrick Dubbs, director of administrative services for Little Miami Local Schools. The Wayne school board approved Dubbs' contract May 12. "I am very thankful for my time at Little Miami," Dubbs said. "It has afforded me a vast range of administrative experiences that has prepared me for the Waynesville superintendency." Dubbs said he was attracted to Waynesville because of the community's "great pride for their schools and town," which he said was reminiscent of his hometown in Darke County.

Dubbs will need to take advantage of that sense of pride when voters will be asked for the second time to pass a 10-mill emergency operating levy.
