WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE -- The Air Force Materiel Command is challenging an arbitrator's ruling that the AFMC violated a labor agreement with the International Association of Fire Fighters by reducing staffing on base fire trucks last year.
The AFMC said Friday, Oct. 31, that it filed its appeal last week with the Federal Labor Relations Authority. The command said it expects to win its challenge and will not implement the arbitrator's ruling while the appeal is pending. The labor authority is unlikely to rule on it before next year.See the full content of this document
