DAYTON -- Grafton Hill neighbors proved just how closely they stick together when five of them subdued a young would-be robber in possession of a pocket knife Friday morning.

The youth, who witnesses said looked to be in his late teens or early 20s, attempted two separate robberies in the 200 and 300 blocks of Central Avenue before two neighbors stopped him and three more wrestled him to the ground and held him until police arrived.
