CARLISLE -- Now that the latest chapter has been written on the continuing drama of Village Council, one has to wonder what is next in the 10 weeks until the Nov. 8 general election for this small Warren County community.

On Thursday, Terry Johnson, who was appointed by Mayor Tim Humphries on July 1 to succeed former councilman Chad S. Johnson, filed a quo warranto complaint with the Ohio Supreme Court seeking to oust Scott Richardson from his seat. Earlier, three members of council had voted that Richardson occupy the seat that had been vacant.
