UMBUS -- If there's a silver lining to the cloud hovering over Republicans around the Statehouse these days, it might be John Carey.
The cloud -- at least for Republicans -- continues to be Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland. Times are tough, the state continues to hemorrhage jobs but Strickland's approval rating just shoots up. A Quinnipiac University poll released on Thursday, Feb. 5, found that 63 percent of Ohio voters liked the job Strickland was doing, an improvement from 54 percent in early December.See the full content of this document
