HAMILTON -- Eight Butler County sheriff's officers traveled last week to Hall County, Ga., for four weeks of training in a partnership with Immigration and Customs Enforcement that will allow them limited federal power to fight illegal immigrants in Butler County.

"We are finally on our way to making a difference with illegal immigration in Butler County," Sheriff Richard Jones said Friday.
