Peanut butter jar helps identify suspect

TROY -- March 20: A complainant on Race Drive reported that she saw a male with a jar of peanut butter in his hands urinate on the fence outside her residence. An officer spotted him exiting a doorway in the 600 block of South Clay Street. He was easily identified because he had a jar of peanut butter with him. The subject was intoxicated and uncooperative. He became irate and told officers to arrest him. He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Police learned he had three warrants for rape and probation violation, criminal damaging and unauthorized use of property.
