SUGARCREEK TWP., Greene County -- During the Civil War, people had to make do with what they had. When things did not work out, they became inventive.

So it was with many end-of-the year projects made by the 200 eighth-graders in Debi Schwieterman's and Kim Lord's science classes at Bellbrook Middle School.
