The sense of pride Beavercreek athletes displayed at the state high school track meet in June came not only in their medal winning finish, but as one runner said "We did it without any facilities. We have the crappiest track around. It's an embarrassment for a school as big as we are. If we had a decent track, who knows how good our teams would be."
Beavercreek does have a running surface around Frank Zink Field. It still might contain some of the original cinders on it when it was laid down back in the 1950s.See the full content of this document
