Nick Atkinson hadn't performed live since his band Irish Leo broke up in 2001, but he never lost the urge to play music. The former drummer for The Oxymorons and Heike was looking for a low- key situation that wouldn't require a major commitment from any of the musicians when he hit on a concept he's calling ArtistPlaylist.
The project, a semi-regular gathering of friends performing live versions of popular rock albums, makes its debut at Canal Street Tavern on Sunday, Sept. 20.See the full content of this document
