Summary
When you have a community known for its strong support of the arts, the joining of exhibits and ensembles is bound to produce good vibes and a repeat performance. The second edition of "Art for Music's Sake" will take place in Yellow Springs and includes an eclectic mix of about 36 paintings, sculptures, prints, photographs, drawings, folk art and antiques.
The proceeds will benefit Chamber Music Yellow Springs, begun 24 years ago by a handful of music enthusiasts, including Ruth Bent and Jane Baker. The three-hour event will include the exhibit of items borrowed from the town's most notable collectors, a informal talk from guest speaker Angus Randolph, acting director of the Springfield Art Museum, gourmet appetizers, wine and punch. Although the event benefits the musical organization, there will be no string section to applaud.See the full content of this document
