DAYTON -- The Dayton Daily News archive includes rare photos of a smiling Orville Wright, Charles F. Kettering in his workshop and Matilda J. Dunbar, the mother of poet Paul Laurence Dunbar. It also features a photo of the Beatles emerging from their airplane at Lunken Airport in 1964 for a local concert.
"It is an extremely valuable and rich collection of Dayton's history," said Dawne Dewey, head of Wright State University Libraries' Special Collections and Archives. "There will be something in it for everybody who is interested in the history of this area."See the full content of this document
