Over the course of 18 years, four studio albums and countless live performances, oldtime country duo Ann and Phil Case have remained dedicated to reviving and presenting little known songs from days gone by.

"If you can find the right song, it can be very quaint," Ann said recently, sitting with her husband at the dining room table in their Germantown home. "It can take you back in time if you find the right song, but you've got to go through a lot of them to find the right material that suits you as a singer and a player."
