WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE -- In just a few short years, it had become a Christmas Eve tradition for Keith Wightman and his grown son Brett. They'd wrap the presents for other family members, put them under the tree, then kick back with a bourbon and Coke and just talk, man to man. "He'd talk a lot about the Marines, about going over there," Keith said. "He was real proud to be a Marine."

Anthem, Premier Agree to Contract

People with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield health plans can start using the doctors and hospitals of Premier Health Partners again at cheaper network rates on Jan. 1. After a yearlong separation, the Dayton area's largest insurer and largest hospital system agreed Thursday to a network contract through 2009. It will restore access next year for Anthem's 317,000 enrollees to Premier's Miami Valley and Good Samaritan, the 100 physicians of Premier HealthNet and other affiliated services.
